BrickFair 2014

Another BrickFair has come and gone. This year Jack and Daddy pre-purchased tickets and got to the Expo Center early. The planning worked out - the wait in line to get in was only about 10 minutes. Way better than the two hour wait our first year and the 30 minute wait last year (despite our pre-paid tickets!)

Jack and Daddy decided to check out the vendors first. There were about twenty vendors offering all sorts of Lego© products ranging from older, hard to find build sets to custom mini-figures.
Daddy liked the six shooter that was on display.
This creation was H-U-G-E! Two 1/2" chains attached to heavy gauge metal tubing held the creature aloft.
 Some of the mosaics.

Old school toy made from Lego©

Wizard of Oz complete with flying monkeys and a tornado-borne house.
 HoHoHo....
Of course there were Minecraft related items.
 Interesting sense of humor.
 Wipeout!
 Robotic excavator.
Of course Jackson found a video game.

A model of the Dulles Terminal.

This is one of the custom Lego© mini-figs. How cool is a Gingerbread Man with pink frosting guns?!
Daddy almost bought one of these guys until the vendor told him cost $35.00. Killer Gingerbread Man is cool but not that cool!
